BEAUTY fans gave their flowers to an affordable drugstore concealer that proved itself against the test of time.
Some were shocked by the beauty product’s intense coverage.
Mercer J London, an Amazon shopper, awarded the $9 Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer five stars in her review.
An avid makeup fan, she explained that she’d tried many brands but found herself often disappointed.
“I’ve purchased so many different types of cover-up,” she wrote.
“Spending tons of money on some very expensive brand products. I started using this as my main cover all over and love it.
She explained that she’d often pair the concealer with other cosmetics.
“Sometimes I’ll use [with] Perbella but works great as a full cover too,” she said.
“Stays on all night mostly (compared to how others looked) and matches my skin tone perfectly.”
Another happy customer, L Nunn, raved about how well the concealer covered up her dark circles.

“I bought this in color 160 which is a light pink tint. I have extremely dark purple under-eye circles which are hereditary and red upper eyelids,” she explained.
“I cover with foundation first then apply the concealer above and below [the] eyes and in the corner.”
Nunn praised the concealer’s simple and convenient tube packaging.
“It’s applied with a soft sponge and the product fills the sponge with a twist. I blend with a brush, first tapping it in and it completely covers the circles,” she said.
“It isn’t thick at all and feels light on the skin.”
As a glasses-wearer, she was shocked by how much of a difference the product made, even with her glasses on.

“I wear glasses and this concealer really brightens my eyes!” she said.
One woman called the concealer a “must-have” for anyone’s makeup collection.
“Best under-eye concealer I’ve used. I have expensive under-eye concealers I use,” Nancy wrote.
But I find I’ll still use my Maybelline concealer over the top to completely cover my dark circles.”
For days when she preferred to go with less makeup, she simply threw the concealer on for a quick and easy look.
“On casual days, I use Maybelline alone under [my] eyes to cover some red spots in my face without any foundation.
“I’m over 50, and I keep thinking the more expensive concealers will be the best. Hasn’t been true for me. I keep going back to Maybelline.”
