Former President Donald Trump issued a stern warning on Wednesday, declaring that he would blacklist anyone who contributes to Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign. In a post on his new social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated that individuals who donate to Haley’s campaign “from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp.” He made it clear that such donors are not wanted nor accepted.
While it remains unclear whether Trump’s warning applies solely to donations to Haley’s campaign or extends to contributions made to a pro-Haley political action committee, Haley herself responded to the threat with defiance. She took to Twitter, inviting people to donate to her candidacy. “Well in that case…donate here. Let’s Go!” Haley exclaimed, providing a link to her fundraising site.
As news broke that Haley would be attending multiple Wall Street fundraisers in New York City, Trump’s threat to her donors gained more attention. Haley, who is determined to continue her campaign, has been promoting her fundraising efforts since Trump’s projected win in New Hampshire. She claimed to have raised $1 million within 24 hours following the New Hampshire primary, a figure her campaign later reiterated. However, NBC News cannot independently verify this amount as the Federal Election Commission has yet to release data for that period.
It is worth noting that Trump’s campaign ended the third quarter of 2023 with more than $37 million on hand, while Haley’s campaign had over $11 million, according to FEC filings.
Regardless of the outcome, this face-off between Trump and Haley sets the stage for an intense battle in the 2024 presidential race. Keep an eye on F5 Magazine for more updates on this ongoing feud.
