Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, turned heads on the Grammys red carpet with a major change to her appearance. The star seemed to have completely removed all of her many tattoos, unveiling a fresh, ink-free look.
In reality, Paris cleverly covered up her tattoos with makeup, creating the illusion that they were gone. At one point, the 25-year-old had a staggering 80 tattoos, but she decided it was time for a change.
She confidently strutted down the red carpet in a stunning black Celine gown, speaking exclusively to ET about her decision to temporarily cover up her body art. Paris explained that while she loves her tattoos, piercings, and body modifications, she also wanted to give the fashion she was wearing its own moment to shine.
“I love my tattoos, I love my piercings, I love all the body modification stuff, art, and also sometimes I don’t want it to distract from the art that is the fashion I’m wearing,” she said. “And it gives the dress its own moment, you know?”
The transformation certainly grabbed everyone’s attention, sparking conversations and admiration for Paris’s bold fashion choices. While her tattoos may be temporarily hidden, Paris’s unique style and confidence continue to make a statement.
