Tracy Robinson finds herself in hot water as she decides to end her marriage with Nate Robinson. Intrigued by Tracy’s secretive behavior, Emmerdale’s latest addition, Ruby Fox-Miligan, sets out on a mission to discover who Tracy has been seeing behind her husband’s back.
Last week, the residents of the ITV village were taken aback by the unexpected arrival of Ruby Fox-Miligan, Caleb’s wife (played by Beth Cordingly). Nate (portrayed by Jurell Carter) had become suspicious of his wife Tracy, suspecting her of having an affair with his uncle Caleb (Will Ash).
Although Nate wasn’t able to catch them in the act, his instincts were right. Ruby’s return to Caleb’s life has prompted Tracy to take the decision to end her marriage. Concerned about Tracy’s family, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb), who was aware of the affair, advises her not to throw everything away.
However, Tracy shocks Nate by confessing that she no longer loves him. His shock quickly turns to anger as he demands an explanation for the end of their marriage. As Nate storms out of the house, Tracy finds herself devastated and breaks down in tears.
Meanwhile, Nate aimlessly wanders the outskirts of the village in a daze. Against his better judgement, Caleb invites him to come home with him. Tracy is later shocked to discover that Nate is staying with Caleb. A concerned Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) tries to support Nate, and Ruby gives him a knowing look when Nate speculates that Tracy may be involved with someone else. Intrigued, Ruby encourages them to find out who Tracy’s secret lover is.
Later, Ruby becomes suspicious when she witnesses her son Nicky (Lewis Cope) and Caleb engaged in an argument. She is determined to get to the bottom of things and uncover the truth. Will Ruby succeed in uncovering the whole truth?
In the meantime, Tracy is stunned when Nate decides to move back home, and they agree to continue living together for the sake of their daughter, Frankie. A tipsy Ruby returns home later on, and Caleb cannot resist pulling her in for a passionate kiss.
Viewers have speculated that Tracy may soon face a DNA twist, potentially discovering she is pregnant without certainty about the identity of the father. Could this development bring closure to Caleb and Tracy’s affair?
