THINGS are about to get very physical next month when two of the world’s strongest men collide.
It’s official – Eddie Hall, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man winner, will face reigning champ Mitchell Hooper in an epic showdown.
The Tale of the Tape
Hall, now a hugely popular social media personality with over five million followers, will take on Hooper, who currently has 183,000 followers on Instagram.
- Weightlifting Records: Hall boasts an impressive personal best deadlift of 500kg, while Hooper’s best deadlift is 475kg.
- Height: Hooper holds a narrow advantage in height, standing at 6ft 3in, compared to Hall’s 6ft 2in.
However, when it comes to fighting experience, Hall has the upper hand. Last year, he took on Game Of Thrones actor Hafthor Bjornsoon in a huge boxing match, although he did lose that bout by unanimous decision, leaving him with a 0-1 record.
On the other hand, Hooper will be making his MMA debut, with no previous fighting experience to draw on. But that hasn’t dampened his spirits, as he aims to prove himself in the ring against Hall.
The showdown will take place in Qatar at the Khalifa International Stadium, which has a capacity of 45,000 seats and has hosted World Cup matches in the past.
So, who will come out on top in this clash of the titans? Will Hall’s sheer size and experience give him the edge, or will Hooper surprise everyone with his raw strength and determination?
