A heartbreaking incident occurred in Florida when a 9-year-old boy lost his life after crawling under a moving school bus. The Orange County Public School bus had just dropped off Elyas Marshall Rodriguez and was stopped at a roundabout on Tuesday. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when the driver began driving again, and Elyas ran back and crawled underneath the bus. The rear tire collided with the young boy, resulting in his untimely death.
Investigation Underway
The Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the cause of death as cranial-cerebral trauma, deeming it an accident. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) continues to actively investigate this tragic incident. The driver, a 54-year-old individual who has not been identified, remained at the scene, assisting the authorities in their inquiries.

The FHP is currently working to determine the reasons behind the boy’s decision to crawl under the bus. The incident is perplexing, and investigators are diligently seeking answers to understand the tragic sequence of events.
Remembering Elyas
