Luke Littler, the 16-year-old darts prodigy, has taken the world of darts by storm with his remarkable performances at the PDC World Darts Championship. Not only has he secured a spot in the final against Luke Humphries, but he has also guaranteed himself a minimum of £200,000 in prize money regardless of the outcome. If he clinches the Sid Waddell Trophy, his winnings will more than double to a staggering £500,000.

Despite his tender age, Littler is already eyeing a new car as his desired purchase with the prize money. In an interview with TalkSPORT, he cheekily pointed to the Skoda logo on his shirt and quipped, “I’ve got a Skoda, so I’m sure they can sort me out!” Although he cannot legally drive yet, as he is due to turn 17 this month, the world championships may mark the start of an exciting journey behind the wheel for Littler.

In addition to his own aspirations, Littler also plans to share his success with his friends. He revealed that he would love to treat them to a day out, perhaps at Blackpool or Alton Towers, using some of the prize money. “All my friends are watching at home,” he said. “We’ve always said we need to go to Blackpool or Alton Towers, so I think they will be looking at me and saying, ‘You’re paying, Luke!'”

Winning the championship at Ally Pally will open up numerous opportunities for Littler beyond enjoying theme park adventures. However, he must first focus on finishing off his dream run by defeating world number three Luke Humphries in front of the fervent crowd at the palace.

Littler, known for his unique pre-game routine, sticks to a tried-and-true regimen. He starts his day with a ham-and-cheese omelette for breakfast, followed by pizza for lunch, and a dedicated practice session on the board. With his dedication and talent, it’s no wonder Littler has become a rising star in the world of darts.
