Ghislaine Maxwell is determined to prove she is not the “most horriblest person on earth” and that there are others who were “even worse” than her, according to Prince Andrew’s cousin, author Christina Oxenberg. In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Oxenberg stated that Maxwell will use the newly-released unsealed Epstein documents to support her defense. The documents contain a list of over 100 names, including powerful figures like Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Donald Trump, who were associated with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell hopes to highlight that she is not the only one involved in this scandal.

Maxwell, who has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the procurement of underage girls for Epstein, claims that she herself was a victim and denies any wrongdoing. In a previous interview with 60 Minutes, she stated, “I’m (not) the cruelest, meanest, horriblest person who’s done, committed crimes. And I mean, I literally haven’t seen any details that are accurate.” However, Oxenberg, who wrote the book “Trash: Encounters with Ghislaine Maxwell,” mentioned that Maxwell boasted about finding young women for Epstein and treated them as nothing more than “trash.”

Maxwell’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, commented on her behalf, pointing out the gender bias in the way the crimes are perceived. “I don’t think she has anything to talk about, except maybe that if you look at this crime, this overall crime, it’s all about men abusing women for a long period of time … and it’s only one person in jail — a woman,” he said. Oxenberg, however, finds this defense unconvincing and believes it is a distraction from the true extent of Epstein’s crimes.

The unsealed documents also shed light on new allegations, including claims that Prince Andrew took part in an “underage orgy” with an unnamed Jane Doe, believed to be Virginia Giuffre. The papers state that Maxwell facilitated Prince Andrew’s acts of sexual abuse by acting as a “madame” for Epstein. While Prince Andrew denies any wrongdoing, he settled out of court with Giuffre for a rumored $16 million.

Despite the release of these documents, Oxenberg finds them “underwhelming” and believes that many questions surrounding Epstein’s network remain unanswered. She holds Maxwell accountable for her involvement and believes that Maxwell’s intelligence and education should have prevented her from participating in such criminal activities. Maxwell, who is currently incarcerated in Florida, has reportedly made friends in prison and has a dark sense of humor that resonates with her fellow inmates.

The release of these documents is a significant development in the ongoing Epstein saga, shedding light on the extent of his network and the involvement of high-profile individuals. As Maxwell plans to appeal her prison sentence, the true extent of her culpability and the actions of those implicated in the scandal are yet to be fully revealed.
