The beloved legal drama series, “Suits,” may have ended four years ago, but its fandom remains stronger than ever. The cast members, Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht, recently had a delightful reunion at the 81st annual Golden Globes. The duo, along with Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty, graced the event and even presented together.

During the Golden Globes Pre-Show, presented by Variety, Adams and Macht couldn’t help but express their gratitude for the show’s massive success on Netflix. The actors portrayed the iconic characters of Mike Ross and Harvey Specter on the series.

Macht enthusiastically shared his thoughts, saying, “We had some great success when the show was on. All over the world, people were downloading and pirating it. Then, Netflix came in and said, ‘Why don’t we put this out there?’ And it’s been incredible. We’re very grateful for it.”

Moreover, the dynamic duo discussed the exciting news about an upcoming “Suits” spinoff set in Los Angeles. Adams revealed, “It’s all in the early stages. It’s a show in the ‘Suits’ universe, like a ‘Suits L.A.’ Our fearless showrunner Aaron Korsh is working on that. If I got the phone call, I’d be ready to suit up again. I loved the show, the character, and working with these amazing people.”

When the possibility of Meghan Markle returning to the spinoff was mentioned, Adams playfully responded, “Sure, Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to L.A. and fix some stuff.”

UCP produced the legal drama, which aired on the USA Network for nine successful seasons from 2011 to 2019. However, “Suits” reclaimed the limelight this year when it began streaming on Netflix. The show topped Netflix’s charts for several weeks and set the record for the most-ever No. 1 appearances on Nielsen’s Streaming Top 10 chart.

The show’s remarkable cast also included Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill, and Katherine Heigl. During an exclusive interview with Variety, Markle celebrated the show’s soaring popularity, as it surpassed 45 billion minutes streamed, combined on Netflix and Peacock.

Markle shared her excitement, stating, “Isn’t that wild? It was great to work on, such a fantastic cast and crew. We had a really fun time. I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit. But it’s hard to find a show these days that you can binge-watch with so many episodes. That could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”
