Former UFA executive Katja Bäuerle has been appointed as the CEO of the Erich Pommer Institut, a prestigious professional training institution located in Potsdam-Babelsberg, near Berlin. The institute is closely affiliated with the renowned Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.
A Wealth of Experience
Bäuerle brings to the table extensive experience as a producer, manager, and expert in team leadership and communication. With a degree in business administration, she has been involved in the production of over 500 episodes of popular series in both Germany and Australia. Before taking on the role of corporate management at UFA, Bäuerle also served as senior manager, responsible for creative initiatives, education, and internal communications.

Expressing her excitement about this new chapter, Bäuerle shared, “As an aspiring filmmaker, I had my first encounter with the Erich Pommer Institut as a seminar participant, lecturer, and client.
