Last year, MatPat had the honor of hosting the Streamy Awards, an event that garnered a remarkable 15 million views within the first 48 hours across various digital platforms. The 2023 ceremony set a new record as the most-watched in the awards’ 13-year history, surpassing the previous year’s 9.7 million views.

The Pursuit of Family Time

In his farewell video, MatPat expressed his desire to prioritize spending more time with his family. After dedicating over a decade to his work-first mentality, he and Stephanie decided it was time for a change.
