The mystery deepens surrounding the whereabouts of four individuals with connections to an online cult led by Rashad Jamal, a convicted child molester. The Missouri police officer leading the investigation has revealed that these missing individuals, along with two young children, have gone completely off the grid. It seems they have purposely vanished, cutting off all forms of communication, leaving authorities perplexed.
A Disturbing Disappearance
According to Berkeley Police Maj. Steve Runge, the missing six were last seen at a Quality Inn in Florissant, just north of downtown St. Louis. They stayed there for a period of four days in August of the previous year. Prior to that, they were residing in a rented home in Berkeley. Although reports have surfaced of their eviction from the property, Runge cannot confirm this.
Ties to the Cult
The adults among the missing group are believed to be associated with Rashad Jamal’s cult. Jamal, currently serving an 18-year prison sentence in Georgia for child molestation and cruelty to children, runs an online organization called the University of Cosmic Intelligence. Despite hundreds of thousands of views on videos where he refers to himself as a god or messiah, Jamal denies any knowledge of the six missing individuals.

The identities of the missing individuals have been established as Gerielle German (26) and her 3-year-old son, Ashton Mitchell; Naaman Williams (29); Mikayla Thompson (23); Ma’Kayla Wickerson (25) and her 3-year-old daughter, Malaiyah. Concerned family members have not had any contact with them since August.
Unusual Behavior
Ma’Kayla Wickerson’s mother, Cartisha Morgan, mentioned that her daughter suddenly started quoting Jamal and engaging in strange behavior before abruptly leaving for Missouri with her son. German and her son are originally from Mississippi and moved to St. Louis without warning. Family members recall German speaking about “high frequency, low frequency, and cosmic husbands.” When her mother expressed concern, German simply replied, “Well, I’m leaving.”
Cult Connections
Rashad Jamal seems to have followers across the country, with some encountering serious legal issues. Yasmine Hider, associated with the cult, recently received a 35-year prison sentence for her involvement in a fatal shooting in Alabama. Social media posts indicate her affiliation with Jamal. Another follower, Krystal Pinkins, received a life sentence for the same killing.
The cult’s reputation and the members’ sudden disappearance have raised numerous troubling questions about their motives and safety.
