Luke Littler, the talented young darts player, may have eerily predicted his epic nine-darter at the Bahrain Darts Masters five days before the incredible feat took place. The Warrington wonderkid, who is set to turn 17 soon, amazed fans by smashing in a nine-darter, a 170 finish, and winning his first senior event on Friday night.

Luke Littler scored an epic nine-darter at the Bahrain Darts Masters

But here’s where things get interesting. Just a week before his historic performance, Littler visited Old Trafford to watch Manchester United’s match against Tottenham, which ended in a 2-2 draw. During the visit, he was asked a rather ironic question: Would he rather score a hat-trick or hit a nine-darter? His answer? “Nine-darter.”

But Littler may have predicted it on his visit to Old Trafford last week

And as fate would have it, just five days later, Littler achieved his prediction, hitting a perfect leg against Nathan Aspinall in Bahrain. This remarkable accomplishment made him the youngest player ever to achieve a perfect leg in a major senior event. It’s worth mentioning that just 16 days prior, Littler had reached the final of the World Championship and earned a cool £200,000.

In addition to his incredible darts skills, Littler is also a passionate fan of Manchester United. His favorite night watching the Reds was the team’s comeback win against Atalanta in the Champions League, where they were down 2-0 but managed to secure victory with goals from Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, and the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo.

Littler even had the opportunity to meet Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, along with Bruno Fernandes. It seems his talent has caught the attention of another football legend, as David Beckham slid into his DMs to congratulate him, saying, “Well done, once a red, always a red.”

Now, for some darts-related football trivia! When asked which dart player would be good in a football team, Littler suggested Dirk van Duijvenbode, thanks to his height, placing him at the back.

Littler also shared his thoughts on darts nicknames for some Manchester United players. He proposed “goalscorer” for Rashford and “leader” for Scott McTominay.

Luke Littler’s incredible journey in the world of darts continues to captivate fans and experts alike. With his youthful talent and uncanny ability to predict remarkable achievements, he is definitely a rising star to watch.
