Tommy Robinson, former leader of the EDL, scowled as he showed up in court today for breaching an order to avoid an anti-Semitism protest in London. In November, he joined thousands of demonstrators in central London against anti-Semitism.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been charged with failing to comply with the order that prohibited him from entering the area. As he made his way into Westminster Magistrates’ Court, he was captured on camera scowling.

During the protest, Robinson was dramatically arrested by the police. He was seen being led away, grimacing after being pepper-sprayed. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the organizers of the march were concerned about Robinson’s attendance. Despite being asked by officers to leave, he allegedly refused to do so.

Robinson had expressed his intention to attend the demonstration as a way to show support and solidarity to British Jews. However, the Campaign Against Antisemitism made it clear that Robinson was not welcome at the event.

Various celebrities, including Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie, as well as Countdown star Rachel Riley, also participated in the march to show their support for British Jews.

Robinson has been charged with failing to comply with the order and has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on January 22.
