girl-8-says-it-was-amazing-to-be-picked-up-by-jason-kelce-to-see-taylor-swift

An 8-year-old girl’s dream of meeting Taylor Swift became a reality in the most extraordinary way. With the help of Jason Kelce, a future Hall of Fame center, third-grader Ella Piazza found herself in a priceless and viral moment at the recent Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills game.

Ella, a devoted Swiftie from Rochester, arrived at Highmark Stadium with a sign she had made for her favorite singer. Little did she know that an unexpected boost from Jason Kelce, brother of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, would take her closer to her idol. Jason spotted Ella, picked her up, and ensured that she had her moment with Taylor.

“I saw Taylor,” Ella exclaimed with a beaming smile during an exclusive interview on NBC’s “TODAY” show. “It was, like, amazing.”

Ella showed Taylor her now-famous homemade sign that read, “Buffalo Bills + Taylor Swift Best First Game Ever!!” The moment will forever be etched in their memories, with Ella’s mother, Jessica Piazza, describing it as the happiest she’s ever seen her daughter.

Getting close to Taylor took a lot of determination and a stroke of luck for Ella. Her family’s tickets were on the opposite side of the stadium from where Swift and her crew were sitting. However, a family friend had seats near Taylor’s party and invited Ella and her mother to drop by halftime for a far-fetched chance to meet her idol.

Ella remained positive, even though the odds seemed impossible. She had been telling her friends at school that she was going to meet Taylor Swift at the game, and her enthusiasm never wavered. Ella’s hard work on her sign and her unwavering belief paid off when she met her favorite singer.

Ella’s mother expressed her gratitude to Jason Kelce for making this moment possible. “He was so kind to her,” Jessica said. “And I was just so thankful that he gave her the chance to see Taylor because she was standing up there at the top of the bleachers with her sign just waiting and hoping and so brave — she climbed all the way to the top.”

In true Swiftie fashion, Ella traded friendship bracelets with Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin during her appearance on the “TODAY” show. This remarkable experience will undoubtedly stay with Ella forever.
