Monday morning commuters are facing a nightmare as two major rail companies have warned of massive delays due to a significant signalling fault. Southern and Thameslink, responsible for operating services from the southeast into London, have urged people not to travel as trains have been cancelled.

The signalling issue has caused disruptions across the entire Southern Network, leading to a complete halt in train operations until further notice. Southern Rail tweeted, “DO NOT travel on any Southern route until further notice.” Thameslink echoed the same message on their Twitter account.
