The highly anticipated prequel series to “The Terminal List” on Amazon Prime Video has just added a major talent to its cast. Dar Salim has been cast in a recurring guest star role for “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf,” according to Variety.
Salim will be playing the character Mohammed “Mo” Farooq, an Iraqi Special Operations Forces (ISOF) officer who was formerly trained in the CIA Scorpions program. Coming from a world of dictatorship and war, Farooq’s mission is to defend and strengthen his country against enemies both internal and external.
Salim is no stranger to the screen, having recently starred alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the Guy Ritchie film “The Covenant,” which was released by Amazon and MGM Studios. He also reunited with Ritchie for the upcoming Netflix series “The Gentlemen.” Salim is known for his roles in films such as “Darkland,” its sequel, “Loving Adults,” “Black Crab,” and “A War.” On the small screen, he has appeared in popular shows like “Game of Thrones,” “Warrior,” and “Dicte.”
“The Terminal List: Dark Wolf” is set five years prior to the events of “The Terminal List” and follows the journey of Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) as he transitions from life as a SEAL to a CIA paramilitary operator. The series is co-created by Jack Carr and David DiGilio. Carr, who wrote “The Terminal List” book series that inspired the original show, and DiGilio, who developed the show for television and serves as showrunner, are both executive producers on “Dark Wolf.” Kitsch also serves as an executive producer alongside Chris Pratt, who produces through Indivisible Productions. Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick are executive producers through Hill District Media. Notably, Max Adams, a former Army Ranger, and SEAL Jared Shaw are both writers and executive producers on the series. Frederick E.O. Toye will direct the pilot and executive produce. “Dark Wolf” is a co-production between Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center Media.
With the addition of Dar Salim to the cast, “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf” is shaping up to be an exciting and action-packed prequel series. Fans of the original show can expect a thrilling dive into the backstory of Ben Edwards and the world he inhabits. Watch out for this highly anticipated series, coming soon to Amazon Prime Video.
