Gusty Winds Along the Coast

Rain Alert for Wales and Southern England

Get your raincoats and umbrellas ready! A yellow warning for rain has been issued, particularly for Wales, Hereford, Gloucester, and the south of England. These areas are expected to receive heavy downpours today, leading to potential flooding on the roads and delays to services. The warning is in effect until 3pm.

Snowy Start for Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland has been put on alert for snow as we welcome the first day of March. The Met Office predicts a period of rain and sleet, occasionally turning into snow during Friday morning. The yellow warning is in effect from 4am to 10am.

Mixed Day Ahead

According to a Met Office spokesperson, we can expect a frosty start with patchy fog that will clear quickly. Rain and hill snow are likely in the southwest, spreading northeast and turning heavy at times, with blustery showers following behind. The far north should be drier, but there might be some showers. It’s going to be quite breezy and cold out there!
