Sting and wife Trudy are set to enter one of their pups in this year's Crufts

Pop star Sting and his wife Trudie are making headlines again as they enter their talented pup at Crufts. The famous couple, known for their love of dogs, have been breeding exceptional pups, and one of them is ready to take part in the prestigious competition. Last year, their pups achieved remarkable success at Crufts, and they are hoping to repeat their triumph this year.

A Passion for Dog Breeding

Mum-of-four Trudie, 70, shared that her husband, Sting, had a brilliant idea to bring a wolfhound into their lives back in the 1990s. Little did they know that this decision would ignite their passion for dog breeding. Since then, Trudie has bred an impressive 85 pups, and one of them is now in the running for the Irish Wolfhound category at Crufts, which will be judged this morning at Birmingham’s NEC.

Trudie’s love for dogs goes beyond breeding. She often takes walks with eight of them near their Wiltshire home. In fact, their furry friends even accompany them on their holidays to Italy. Their dedication and commitment to their dogs are truly remarkable.
