Anonymous Content Brazil, a partnership between São Paulo-based RT Features and Anonymous Content, has begun production on its first scripted project. They are adapting Raphael Montes’ bestselling novel, “Perfect Days,” into a TV series for Globo Brazil’s streaming platform, Globoplay.
A Thrilling Road Trip through Rio de Janeiro
“Perfect Days” tells the story of Clarice, a carefree screenwriter, who playfully kisses Téo, an awkward medical student. But what starts as a joke quickly turns into a nightmare when Téo becomes obsessed with making Clarice love him. He abducts her, leading to a frantic road trip across the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. As Téo’s obsession intensifies, he goes to extreme lengths to ensure their supposed perfect life.
A Stellar Cast and Crew
Directed by Joana Jabace, an International Emmy-winning filmmaker known for her work on “Precious Pearl,” this eight-episode adaptation promises to be a thrilling ride. The scripts for the series are penned by Claudia Jouvin, the talented screenwriter behind “The Nightshifter.” Starring Julia Dalavia as Clarice, the show also features Jaffar Bambirra, Débora Bloch, and Fabiula Nascimento.
