AN affordable serum gave one woman enviably thick eyebrows following a disastrous trip to the beauty salon.

She didn’t reveal if her brows were “botched” by waxing or threading as she raged about how thin the beautician made them.

Helen (@lookslikehelen) is steadily growing her following on TikTok, where she shares self-care tips.

She went viral on the app after revealing how she regrew her eyebrows after they were thinned down.

She spent months waiting for them to grow thick before going to a salon to have them sculpted.

The beauty guru said the salon employee left her brows “one hair-thin” and completely took off the hair in the middle.

“I can’t even express how hard I was crying when I looked in the mirror,” she said.

Helen revealed she used an “affordable” serum to rapidly regrow her brows.

She showed The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum which costs $14.90 from Sephora.

Over 460,000 customers have liked the product on the brand’s website and it currently has a 3.6-star rating.

The lightweight serum is formulated with “four peptide technologies” that thicken brows and lashes.

Helen said she used the serum on her brows every night before applying any serums or moisturizers.

Over 13,000 people liked the video and hundreds of viewers took to the comment section saying they were going to try the serum for themselves.

‘Just buy it babe,’ beauty fans urge shoppers to snap up $15 serum that starts growing lashes & brows ‘within 2 weeks’

“I trimmed at the wrong angle and I’m at the [embarrassed emoji] stage,” one person wrote. “I’m running to buy this tomorrow before I cry.”

“This is me today [crying] the girl just took half of my eyebrow today and I have been growing them for months! Going to buy and try this,” another said.

“Thank you for sharing! I botched my own – literally 12 years ago and my brows just don’t grow so will try!” a third chimed in.

“Do you have to keep applying it after your eyebrows grow out as desired or can you just stop using it?” another asked.

“I stopped using once I was able to grow them back. It does help keep the hair you have healthy but I didn’t notice fallout when I stopped,” Helen replied.

Optimal results are achieved by applying the serum twice a day.

“Surprisingly, my lashes started looking longer and fuller less than a week after I started using the product.

“It didn’t seem to irritate my skin, and it was intuitive to use.”
