Sacha and Isla met in 2001 at a party in Australia. Speaking to The New York Times on when they first met, Sacha recalled that he knew Isla was the one “instantly.”
“She was hilarious. We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party,” he told the outlet.
“I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.”
The former couple dated for three years before getting engaged in 2004. They later tied the knot on March 15, 2010.
